Moriarty
http://www.myspace.com/moriartylands

Moriarty is not only the name of the main character in the Jack Kerouac well know novel "On The Road". Moriarty is a band of 5 musicians: 4 brothers who play acoustic instruments and create a particular musical atmosphere for the deep and powerful voice of the diva. Moriarty’s music is a sweet musical anachronism. It could have been inspired by American and Irish folk, but also blues from the south of United States and even by country music. But it's difficult to describe Moriarty only with these few words, each songs tells a story, occasionally true, often false, but always intense. The band members all live in their own creative universe they called Moriartyland and we are really proud to introduce you to this great band. Over 70,000 albums sold in France to date, Moriarty are planning to release their album in their album in the UK at the beginning of 2009

Pheobe Killdeer
http://www.myspace.com/phoebekilldeer

At a young age Phoebe Killdeer wanted to write and create her own music, she was already listening to what would become her main influences: Tom Waits, Art of noise, Yma Sumac, Nick Cave, Carmen McRae…She began writing and singing her own compositions, and collaborating on various projects with Bang Gang, Basement Jaxx, True Stories, Ernest Saint Laurent, zero dB… In 2004 she takes part in Marc Collin's project, Nouvelle Vague's second album, «Bande à part». Its success will bring her to tour around the world for three years. The public is immediately captivated by Phoebe Killdeer’s unusual voice, strong personality and great stage presence. Phoebe Killdeer has now produced a solo album of extremes and contrast. Fragility and introspection are comfortably married to an exuberant barrage of Rock, Blues and Soul in a debut record that is startling in its accomplishment.
